Hi everybody
The Sisters have a prayer meeting every Tuesday evening in their home.
It is a wonderful time to be in a quiet reflective setting and to allow the Lord to speak to your heart.
Why should we prayer together with people we don't know?
We are one family!
We pray to "OUR Father. Many miracles in the Bible occurred when God's people prayed together. In prayer we fully realize our relationship with God, and with that we assume
the nobility He intended humans to have from the time we were created.
The most important part of family prayer is perhaps the easiest to overlook -
how we hold each other up to the Lord. Even when we are not physically
together. We want to pray for each other. In reality this
means that I have a pattern of talking with the Lord about the people I love
most dearly, each and every day. They become part of my very relationship with
God. Whether we single, married, widowed, with children, without children, it doesn't matter, it is this
aspect of family prayer that is so important.
- sometimes asking for help,
- sometimes just expressing my
gratitude,
- sometimes begging for the gift of faith.
- sometimes not asking for anything.
The meeting is held from 7.30pm to 8.15pm with refreshments afterward.
